Learning a Language!

So, I know English. I'm learning French at school and it is quite easy for me. But I decided I would learn a new language. I said to myself, why not Spanish?! It's easy to learn because it is so similar to French.  

I was going to get a tutor, but before I got one, I found this app for my iPad. It's called Duolingo and it is completely free. You can learn a few languages, French, Spanish, Italian and German. If you are not familiar with English, you can learn it! 

Apparently, daily practice will help you remember words and phrases, and I'm finding it works! I'm starting to remember some simple sentences off the top of my head in Spanish. I really hope I will be somewhat fluent after all the lessons. They ask you to do things like, translate this phrase into Spanish, translate it into English, say a phrase into your microphone. It tests your reading and oral skills.

Wow, now I can learn a language for free! I know that it is available on mobile devices but I am not sure about computers. I definitely recommend using this app if you would like to learn French, Italian, Spanish or German!

Ta-Dah!

I finally managed to change my background, I was having so many technical difficulties! Finally, understood what I had to do to change my background and here it is. I will probably change it according to what time of the year it is or special holidays. 

I changed some of my fonts up too because the other ones were getting old. You know, just to stay fresh! :) 

So my background is leaves falling off trees because in the Northern Hemisphere where I live, it's fall! My favourite season.

New Background?

I was just wondering, should I make my background fall themed? Surely fall is in the air in the Northern Hemisphere. I think I should, I will try to find a pretty background. Autumn is just my favourite season because it's getting cooler and the leaves are so pretty! Don't you agree?

It's Autumn!

Well what do you know. It's autumn. Okay, I know I'm a bit late, I was busy. My apologies.

Well, where I live, it feels like July. It is so hot still! I just want that weather where I can wear my hat and coat and see the leaves fall from the trees. But noooo, the trees are bright green and I have to take my hoodie for all the time. Sad. :(
